Company History

CMCDayville2Incorporated in 1965 as a partnership between John Curtis and Warren Mueller, C&M began as a salvage company that reclaimed copper from wire conductors using a proprietary process developed by Mueller.

Following a move to the Wauregan facility in 1967 and years of investment in production equipment, C&M evolved into a leading manufacturer of standard and custom cable products.

In 2008, after the passing of Warren Mueller, who had assumed sole ownership of C&M in 1968, the Mueller family sold C&M to The Watermill Group.  Watermill operates the business today carrying on the tradition of excellence established by the company founders.

In January 2015 after 50 years in Wauregan, C&M re-located to a new 150,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility in nearby Dayville, CT.
